DailyFanRacing Newsletter - Vegas & Bahrain
What an incredible start to the 2024 season! Ryan Larkin here with another DFR newsletter to set the stage for the race weekend ahead. We have a massive week ahead with FOUR DFS races taking place including the return of F1!!
Of course, we will have complete premium DFS coverage of all four races at DailyFanRacing.com.
F1 Bahrain GP
The new season kicks off from Bahrain and we should once again get a great show. This track lends itself well to overtaking and battling between drivers. Every team has made big changes to the car designs over the last few months which certainly leads to a lot of unknowns. I love this aspect of F1 because you never know exactly what you will get until qualifying for the first event.
These changes will have an impact on how we build our DFS lineups. There will be a change in hierarchy compared to what we saw at the end of last year. For instance, Alpine are primed to go from a perennial point scorer to potentially a back marker team to start the year. We won’t know for sure until the races take place but that is the way things are trending. The best example of this was Aston Martin going from the 8th or 9th best team in 2022 to scoring loads of podiums in the first half of 2023.
F1 is my favorite sport in the world and I can’t wait to start digging into the new season. We will have our full slate content available including our premium podcast and full slate breakdown article. Oh and one last thing, this race will take place Saturday morning, not the traditional Sunday morning.
Below is a poorly made graphic by me… It shows just a few of our big F1 wins. We deliver the best NASCAR and F1 premium DFS content. Every aspect is covered and we find the right leverage to win you money. Now is the best time to sign up with a huge FOUR race weekend ahead!! Join Now at DailyFanRacing.com
NASCAR
FINALLY, we get some real racing! No more wide open, drafting style racing filled with nonsense and variance. We get to find fast drivers and play them accordingly. I am beyond excited for this…
The Truck Series will kick things off on Friday night with a rather stacked field. Kyle Busch is back to defend last week’s win at his home track. Zane Smith will be in the 91 for MHR and Christopher Bell will also be in this race driving the #1 truck for Tricon. This should be a stellar race when you factor in series regulars Eckes and Heim who should be contenders as well.
We will only have 32 Trucks in this field so a smaller field than the traditional 36 and a relatively strong field overall.
The Vegas Xfinity races at Las Vegas are some of my favorite DFS slates of the year. 200 laps and long green flag runs with minimal variance. We can properly build lineups and dictate or own winnings instead of relying on avoiding the carnage. In fairness, it is still the Xfinity Series so you never know when idiots will be idiots but Vegas historically this is a calm race. The last 3 races have seen a total of 6 natural cautions and 10 DNFs combined.
And of course we have the big show. The Cup Series at Las Vegas was absolutely dominated by HMS last year. A lot of people are expecting a similar result this time around. Will be interesting to see if they have that slate wrecking speed still.
A big storyline that I will be interested in will be how the new bodies that Ford and Toyota have will impact their performance. The Ford teams in particular are where my focus will be. They battled a lack of downforce compared to the other manufacturers which really hurt them on the long runs. Because they had less drag they were often great in qualifying on the high speed tracks but they struggled massively in the race. I am curious if they can become contenders on the intermediates again in 2024.
I say this a lot but I truly believe we have the best team in Racing DFS. The community is amazing and we have a consistent track record of winning. Just last week we had these three massive bankroll boosters plus numerous other winners throughout the group. If you haven’t already, come join us at DailyFanRacing.com!!
